This one just got a recent price chop and the owner states he is “open to reasonable offers. The Lapis Blue is super sexy on the 996 and is 100x better than the sea of silver and silver these narrowbody’s are usually found in. The options list is light, but thats not necessarily a bad thing on these.
The 2001 Carrera came with a 300HP 3.4L flat-six and is fitted with “E-gas” throttle which was standard in all Carreras save for the ’99 Coupes. Seller mentions, zero accidents and a recent oil change. He’s owned the car since 2006, so I imagine he has some service records you should ask to see.
The interior is finished in Graphite grey supple leather (front and rear seats) and the 4-Spoke 993 style steering wheel. Seller mentions a suede headliner and integrated radar detector beyond the stock technic package the car was optioned with from the factory.
Base Carrera, 300 HP, 6speed, RWD, rare Lapis Blue and only 34K miles. If you’re looking for a nicer entry into 911 ownership, this is your car. Get that IMS work done and enjoy those miles of smiles, haters be damned. The perfect firstflatsix.
