This 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera (VIN WP0AA2996XS623488) has a claimed 55,555 miles and is finished in “Speed Yellow” over “Black” full leather interior. The seller states, “This one was not abuse and since it was meant to be my daily driver I change all the worn parts (brakes etc..)”. No mention of any IMS/RMS work done with this one. Find this one offered here on CarGurus in San Francisco, CA for $23,000.
Speed Yellow is not seen often in a sea of Silver, Black and Grey 911’s. It was a special order color and according to the window sticker an additional $3K hit to the wallet. We here at firstflatsix think its a great color and looks fantastic on the base Carrera. This 996 does sport amber tail and headlights and is optioned with the 18″ Turbo Look wheels. The seller states that new tires were fitted less than 5K miles ago.
The 1999 Carrera came with a 296HP 3.4L flat-six and RWD. This car does not appear to have been optioned with the factory LSD (bummer).
The interior is finished in Black full supple leather including the rear seats. The original buyer must have been an enthusiast, being that he/she matched the interior with the Speed Yellow exterior by optioning the Speed Yellow seat belts and stitching. The interior looks commensurate with the stated mileage. Porsche Crested headrests and the 993 style 4 spoke steering wheel close out the interior
