This 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 (VIN WP0AA2994XS626163) has a claimed 30,400 miles and is finished in classic Black with Black leather interior. The seller states, “This is the best car I have ever owned and I hate to get rid of it but baby carseats don t fit well in the back”. Factory Aero with optional 18″ Sport Classic’s in this condition is pretty rare these days. No information regarding any IMS/RMS work so be sure to factor that into any negotiations. Find this one offered here on Autotrader in Arlington, Virginia for $24,900.
17 years owned and it appears the owner took really good care of this one. The car appears to be well optioned, from the pictures, Factory Aero, Litronic (Xenon lighting) and factory 18″ Sport Classic BBS wheels. A lot of folks aren’t fans of the 996.1 Factory Aero “Taco Wing”, but we here at firstflatsix are big fans. While this is a 1999, Carrera 4’s weren’t available with LSD or cable throttle.
From the interior pics, I spy full extended leather (factory) and some kind of Carbon Fiber trim on the dash (not sure if thats factory). Seat wear looks commensurate to the stated mileage.
While a lot of enthusiasts prefer the feel of the Carrera 2, the Carrera 4 has its fans as well, specifically those in snow weather climates. 296 HP, 6speed, RWD biased AWD Factory Aero. Be sure to text the seller for the option code sticker and take it from there. Being a low mileage example, I would be extremely cautious in regards to the IMS/RMS with this one. Buy it, fix it and drive it. The perfect firstflatsix.
