9/17/18 UPDATE: Gone. Didn’t make it through the weekend. Hope one of our readers grabbed it.
This 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera (VIN WP0AA2998XS621516) has a claimed 24,231 miles on the clock and is finished in Glacier White over Graphite Grey leather. No word on any IMS/RMS work. Find this one offered here at Cars.com in Marion, Illinois for $22,997.
We are on a base Carrera streak here at FFS! I wanted to feature a Turbo or 4S but this was too good to pass up and won’t be around long. We have now said this 101X, but I will repeat it for the new readers, we REALLY like the simplicity of the narrow body 996 Carrera. In particular the 99’s because of the cable connected throttle and the optional factory Limited Slip Differential. Unfortunately, this car is NOT equipped with the LSD, but it’s still a great specimen.
This car is quintessential 911. Cable throttle, 4 spoke 993 wheel and 17″ Boxster twists. The Glacier white is pretty rare too, in that you NEVER see these things in white. This is actually a pretty lightly optioned car, as the only option we can spy is the power Sport Seats.
This car is perfect. 296Hp, 6sp, cable throttle, 4 spoke 993 steering wheel and Glacier White? This same spec car just sold on BaT for an insane $28350 (with fees) with slightly less mileage and its original IMS!! A white 996.1 also sold on BaT with MORE MILEAGE for $38K!!! This is an incredible deal right now. Don’t forget the PPI. Make this classic Carrera your firstflatsix.
a flipper grabbed it
How do you know?

We saw Jon smh. Don’t get us wrong, we like everyone to be able to make a living, just stinks that an enthusiast is going to have to pay MORE to drive this beauty.
You know 996’s are on the uptick when flippers have entered their market 🙂
Not the first car we’ve featured to then have show up on a dealers lot a few days later. 🙁
