At first glance I know what you’re thinking, this is expensive for a 996.1. But lets evaluate, shall we? Right off the bat, low mileage at 35,000. Lets not forget about the 996.1 that got $37,800 on BaT a few months ago. The not often seen Zenith Blue Metallic plus Factory Aero makes this rarer than most. Now lets throw in some recent maintenance including the IMS/RMS/Clutch, motor mounts, and a new battery and you got a pretty no nonsense 996.1. Now this car does NOT appear to be equipped with an LSD BUT it is a ’99 model and therefore has the cable connected throttle that we love here at FFS.
The car appears to be mostly stock save for the aftermarket Fister muffler bypass, color matched rear bumperettes and and front bumperplugs. The car is riding on 18″ BBS Sport Design wheels and is optioned with Litronic headlamps.
On the interior we have Space Gray full leather (dash and door cards) carbon fiber trim and some cup holders. The ashtray door appears to CLOSE.
296Hp, 6sp, cable throttle, Zenith Blue, Factory Aero and a new IMS? It’s not cheap, but if 996’s are going to raise in value, this will surely be one of the first. Be sure to ask for a picture of the option codes, and don’t forget that PPI. Make this classic Carrera your firstflatsix.
