FirstFlatSix Exclusive: 64K-Mile 1999 Porsche 996 6sp

This 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 coupe has a claimed 64,500 miles on the clock and is finished in “Guards Red”over “Savannah Beige” leather. Its 3.4 liter flat-six is paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. The seller acquired the car after seeing it featured on FirstFlatSix in January 2019. This 996 is now offered in Little Rock Arkansas with a clean title (w/lien) in the sellers name. 

The Guards Red (L84A) paint shows typical nicks and scratches commensurate with the mileage. The car is fitted with newer Michelin tires on 19″ Fikse wheels mounted over what appear to be the stock cross drilled rotors and painted black Porsche calipers.

The interior is covered in Savanah Beige standard leather with comfort seats and the 993 style 4 spoke steering wheel. The stock CDR-220 has been replaced with an aftermarket head unit. This car being a 1999, is fitted with the graphite interior trim bits found only in the earliest 1999 models. The seller is reporting that the passenger side window speaker is blown and that the passenger side window regulator will probably need replacement soon as its currently operating slowly.

These ’99 Carreras came stock with a 3.4 liter flat-six rated at 296Hp stock and the much loved cable connected throttle (only year available for this). Services over the past 10 months in the sellers ownership include a new starter, water pump, fuel pump, coolant flush and oil change. The seller notes that the factory-fitted IMS bearing is still in place.
